At Rapid, an emergency is classified as a water loss that has resulted in a flood (regardless of size), fire damage clean up, or any type of natural disaster. Our dependable staff are always prepared for immediate response to emergencies 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Question: I have a Rapid defined emergency, what should I do?
Answer: Contact Rapid immediately at 813-792-7374. Our trained staff will ask you some questions therefore, allowing us to do a quick verbal assessment. This is important because this will assure that we dispatch the appropriate number of qualified technicians to you immediately. This will also allow us to manage your emergency with the fastest and greatest results.

Question: Now that Rapid is on their way, what should I do?
Answer: For all Rapid defined emergencies do not attempt to clean up or salvage anything because of the potential safety hazards. Remove yourself from the hazardous condition and move to a safe place. When specifically dealing with floods it is suggested that you attempt to locate your Water Shut Off Valve. This is located on the outside grounds of the residence and generally in the front or the side of the residence. If you are unable to accomplish this, be assured that upon our trained technician’s arrival, they will immediately locate the source of
the leak and will shut it down.

Question:  When Rapid arrives, what should I expect?
Answer:  Our employees are dedicated to serving you in your time of need. Upon our arrival we will immediately assess the emergency. First we will identify if there are any potential hazards to you, your family, and/or pets.  Our trained staff will then do a thorough evaluation in a matter of minutes to create for you an immediate unique Disaster Recovery plan which revolves around your needs. This plan will then be immediately put into action.

Question:  When Rapid leaves, what’s going to happen?
Answer:   For the next few days our friendly technicians will visit you on a daily basis to perform daily assessments.  All visits will be scheduled with you in advance, so that we may meet your accommodations. Our daily visits are extremely crucial because it allows us to monitor your residence and precisely handle your loss for the greatest results.The technicians will inform you on what to expect and why. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Question: Do you work with the insurance companies?
Answer: We gladly work closely with the insurance companies. All you need to do is contact your home owner’s insurance company and file a claim. They will immediately issue you a claim number. You will then have to provide this number to us and we will happily take responsibility for billing and following up with them.
